"Mother and child." Nijmegen.

Went to Nijmegen this afternoon to visit a fellow artist.
He had a new studio and I just had to see that!
(Mine is a whole lot bigger b.t.w.)

But crossing the Waal, I noticed all kind of boats
in the harbour, so I immediately knew where to paint.

"Moeder en kind." Nijmegen, Holland.
(Mother and child.)Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.

I think that the values of your colours in the last five paintings are great, Rene. Definately adds to the overall suttle tone of your work as I see it.

Take care..

Hi René. I'm chuckling with you about your post on my friend Kami's web site. We had a good chuckle together about it.
This is a great painting.

Hey Frank,
Yes it does, doesn't it?
I use a new palette, (Kevin McPherson's) and besides it's takes a little more time to mix, it gives exactly what you say.

Hi Marc,
Nice to visit my blog,
and thanks for the nice complement.
