And again my models left when I started, ... bugger.
It was just too hot to paint they said and I had to
agree, 61% humidity with 25 dgr. Celsius is somewhat
too much.

It looks super Rene, the temperature sounds delightful, its 100 degrees F here. Way hot for painting!

How long did this take to paint Rene?
We get those temperatures here with the humidity as well. Just not this year. Rain rain rain
Bad for outdoor painting.

Nice to see you Lori, I am rushing over now to see what your been doing!!

About 2 hours on site Robert, an a ½ hour in my studio putting the people in, they where such a part of the composition and motive of the painting that I just had to.

Here the last couple of days we have heavy rain during the night and warm temps during the day, ... so it's what we call "plakweer" or sticky weather. The most thing I am not happy with is the greyness of it all, ...

Thanks for the answers Rene. I really liked the treatment of the people and was wondering how you captured them so well while they painted.
We've had rain and or greyness for most of June and July. I'm hoping August will be better as I have a week off and want to paint paint paint.
Your old pochade box has been under sadly used and I want to fix that.
