"Boswerk." Velp, Holland.

Sometimes you just hit a jackpot, ... today I did!
A whole bunch of people where working in the woods
cutting down trees and sawing them in small blocks

One part was a fire-brigade practicing.
Lovely professional with their orange uniforms.
The other part where locals cutting wood for their
fireplaces. Daan the boy with the axes was so kind
to stand model for a few minutes so he's my hero of
the day!

Wow, great paintings. It would have been really easy (for me, at least), to over-saturate those orange/reds. They're just right.
